Error Joomla "Could not instantiate mail function"

As per our policy there is a from header check on the mails sent through the server. The from address of a mail should be a mail id related to the domain from which its sent.

Joomla also sends mails via php scripts so the mail settings should contain a mail address related to the domain. Settings as follows:

Mailer === > PHP Mailer
Mail from===> someting@yourdomain_name.com
From Name =====> someting@yourdomain_name.com
Sendmail Path ====> Should be blank (Again, could be left blank)
SMTP Authentication ===> NO
SMTP Security =====> None
SMTP Port ======> 587
SMTP Host =====> localhost

Reference for joomla settings is given below :
http://docs.joomla.org/Help25:Site_Global_Configuration

Note: You can replace yourdomain_name.com with your domain and corresponding mail address if mail is sent from this domain.
