How do I apply for an SSL Certificate?

After you purchase an SSL Certificate order, you will need to first complete a verification process with the Certificate Authority in order to get your final Certificate. Follow the steps below to apply for your certificate.

1. Log in to your client account
2. Click Services> My Services
3. Locate and click the domain to configure
4. Issue Certificate by clicking on "Issue certificate"
5. Paste the new CSR >> Select the check email from the predefined list or mention the administrator contact of the Email address associated with the domain.

This will initiate a verification process, once the SSL certificate files along with the CA packets will be sent via COMODO via email.

The new certificate can now be installed on your server.

Important

Ensure that Privacy Protection is disabled for the Domain Name.

An SSL Certificate will not be issued to a national or resident of the following countries:

Afghanistan
Belarus
Côte d'Ivoire
Eritrea
Guinea
Iraq
Liberia
Myanmar
Rwanda
Sierra Leone
South Sudan
Zimbabwe
Iran
Sudan
North Korea
Syria

Or any other country where such use is prohibited under United States export regulations.

An SSL Certificate will also not be issued to anyone on the United States Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals or the United States Commerce Department's Table of Denial Orders.
