How to Delete MX records on cPanel?

Deleting MX records on cPanel is super easy and won’t take more than 2 minutes. But before getting there, make sure that your domain is pointing to your hosting nameservers. You can proceed to modify MX records on cPanel:

1. Login to your cPanel.

2. Scroll to Mail section.

3. Click on ‘MX Entry’.

4. Select your domain name from the drop down list.

5. Do not make any changes in the Email Routing section.

6. Under the MX Records section, you can view the current MX records.

7. Under Actions, Click on ‘Delete’

8. Click on ‘Delete’ once again to confirm deletion.

That’s it. Once you make any changes in the DNS, give it about a couple of hours for DNS propagation to complete so that changes reflect globally.
