Creating a Package on WHM

With WHM installed in your Hosting, you can create multiple sub-packages which you can then re-sell or use to create multiple websites. All these sub-packages can have their own individual cPanel accounts and login credentials. In this article we will create a package under your Reseller Hosting plan, so let’s get started:

  • Login to WHM using your password
  • Search for the Packages section on the navigation to your left
  • Click on "Add a Package" in this section
  • Give a Package Name
  • Fill in the Resources (bandwidth, diskspace, no. of email ids etc) you want to allocate for the package
  • Let the default values in Settings be as is
  • Click Add

That’s it. You have successfully created a package on your Linux Reseller Hosting. You can follow the same set of steps to create more packages if you need them.

Now, you will need to create a cPanel account and assign this package to it. The steps for the same are available here.
